EYEBYME · PRIVACY
Your safety.
Your data.
A service that watches over you must be worthy of that trust. These are our privacy principles — the full policy is published before launch in each city.
We collect the minimum
To run a journey we need your account, your start and destination, and the time you're protected. That's the list. We don't ask for contacts, we don't track your location outside active journeys, and the app does nothing in the background while you're not protected.
Recordings belong to you
When protection is active, the drone records your journey so that help can find you fast and you have evidence if you ever need it. Recordings are encrypted, visible only to you and — only with your consent or a lawful request — to emergency services. You can review, download or delete your recordings at any time in the app.
No facial recognition. Ever.
We do not identify people. Not you, not the people around you, not anyone. Our systems see a journey, a route, and movement — never a name attached to a stranger's face. We don't build advertising profiles, and we will never sell or rent your data to anyone.
Kept only as long as needed
Journey recordings are deleted automatically after a short retention period unless you choose to save one. Account data is deleted when you close your account. When we say data is gone, it's gone — including from our backups, within a defined grace period.
Your rights
You have the right to access, correct, export or delete your personal data at any time, under the GDPR and equivalent laws. Requests are handled by people, not just forms — write to privacy@eyebyme.com and we'll respond within the legally required window.
One promise above all
If we ever consider changing any of this, we'll tell you before it happens — in plain language, not in a wall of fine print. Your safety should never cost you your privacy.
