EYEBYME · LEGAL
The rules,
in plain words
The legal essentials of EyeByMe, written to be read. Full terms of service are published before launch in each city — this page covers what matters most.
What EyeByMe is
EyeByMe is a personal security service. You sign in a drone at a station, it accompanies your journey, and it returns when you're home. It provides presence, visibility and a faster route to help — nothing more, and nothing less.
What EyeByMe is not
EyeByMe is not an emergency service and does not replace police, fire or medical response. While your protection is active, our security operators are live-connected to 112 and bring emergency services in directly when needed — outside an active journey, always call 112 yourself. We are not a private security guard, a law-enforcement body, or an insurance product, and the service does not guarantee the prevention of any incident.
How the drones fly
Every EyeByMe journey operates within the aviation regulations of the country it flies in, including European drone rules. Drones fly defined routes above and behind you, stay clear of restricted airspace, and return to their stations automatically. Flights may be paused — for example in severe weather — and we'll always tell you when that happens.
Using the service
EyeByMe is for your own journeys and your own safety. You may not use the service to follow, monitor or intimidate others, and misuse leads to immediate suspension. You're responsible for the accuracy of the journey details you enter, and for your own conduct during a journey.
Your content and recordings
Footage captured during your protected journey belongs to you, is encrypted, and is retained only as long as described in our Privacy page. We share recordings with emergency services only when you ask us to, or when the law requires it.
Liability
We work hard to make every journey uneventful, but no safety service can promise outcomes. Our liability is limited as set out in the full terms of service published at launch. Nothing on this page limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law.
